1. What Information We Collect

We value our customers and their privacy. We do not collect personal information unless it is required.

Account Information

You do not need an account to use the website. On the mobile app, exhibitions can be viewed without creating an account. An account is required to create an exhibition. While creating an account we collect Name, Email, and Profile Picture. Your name and profile picture are public. The name you use with the app, need not be the same as your real name and your profile picture does not need to be your real picture. You can use Single Sign-on features. In some cases, we ask for email verification. You can request to delete an account anytime from your profile page in the mobile app. Deletion of the account data on the backend is not immediate.

The content you provide

The content you submit includes pictures of your artwork or information about your artwork as part of exhibition creation. This information is transferred to our backend only when publishing the exhibition. When you request for the account deletion, all the exhibition information on the device as well as the information transferred to the backend is deleted. Deletion of the data on the backend can take up to 72 hours.

Your interaction with the App or Website

When you interact with the app, we collect information about some of the actions. This information is used for improving the app's functionality.

Transactional Information

When you purchase subscriptions on the app we do not collect payment information. The payment is done through the app store.

Logs and usage data

We collect logs when there is an error to help us fix the error.

2. How we protect your information

We take measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access. We use HTTPS while transmitting data from your device to our backend.

3. Communications

We send emails announcing updates, exhibitions, and suggestions to improve your exhibition. Users can opt out by sending an email to support@artevirtual.gallery

We reserve the right to update or change our Privacy Policy at any time and you should check this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Service after we post any modifications to the Privacy Policy on this page will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Privacy Policy. If you want to be notified of the changes please send email with subject privacy policy changes.
